Coswig (Anhalt), the home of your pino kitchen, is situated on the German Avenues Route between Dessau and Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
Visitors also love Coswig’s castle and the Nicolaikirche church, which dominate the cityscape. With almost 40 percent of its territory forested, as well as the verdant Elbe meadow landscape, the Wittenberg district appeals to nature enthusiasts and culture vultures alike.

Wörlitzer Park

Worth a visit: One of the oldest (1765) and perhaps most beautiful landscape gardens in continental Europe, Wörlitzer Park was accessible to the general public from the outset. The gardens were not only recreational, but also educational. They were commissioned by Anglophile Leopold III. Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau, inspired by the parks he visited on the island.

Bauhaus Dessau

The Bauhaus building in Dessau has been a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site since 1996. The school of thought is considered to have revolutionised 20th century architecture and social history. A must for all architecture lovers.

Lutherstadt Wittenberg

A world-famous town. Martin Luther is believed to have nailed his 95 theses to Wittenberg’s Schlosskirche, heralding in the Reformation.

How it all began

Turning the first sod on the Buroer Feld site. The new head office of pino Küchen GmbH with an area of 172,000 square meters was built in just eight months. We started out with 81 staff. In November 1994 our first cabinet left the assembly line.

Reducing production time

Minister President Prof. Wolfgang Böhmer came to visit us. He was impressed by the fact that it only takes 2 to 3 weeks for a kitchen to be installed.

Visit from Minister President

Dr Reiner Haseloff, Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt, came to visit us. Our almost 250 employees now produced 100,000 kitchens per year. Our total turnover was around 90 million euros.

20 years of pino!

We welcomed many guests to our 20-year anniversary celebration. Minister President Dr Reiner Haseloff conveyed special greetings. We also welcomed Coswig's mayor Doris Berlin, who played a considerable part in helping the company become established in Klieken. She helped us obtain all permits and subsidies.

Change of company name

We made a new start as pino Küchen GmbH & Co. KG.

Our first international trade fair

This is our first time we are taking part in an international trade fair! We exhibit our kitchens with great success at Saddec in Paris.

Golden M

We have been accepted into the German Furniture Quality Association (DGM)! Following a rigorous inspection in accordance with the RAL-GZ 430 quality standards, we were awarded the RAL „Golden M“ quality mark. You can be sure that every kitchen that leaves our factory meets the high requirements for safety, stability and durability as well as health and environmental aspects. The topic of sustainability has a high priority for us. For us, acting sustainably means taking equal account of ecological, economic and social aspects. As a member of the Climate Pact for the Furniture Industry, we have therefore been awarded the DGM Climate Seal. Our kitchens also meet all the requirements of the emission label of the highest quality class „A“, because your health is also close to our hearts.

Sustainable forestry

PEFC is the world's largest independent certification system for sustainable forestry. Wood and paper products with the PEFC seal come from forests that are managed in an ecologically, economically and socially responsible manner. With this certificate, we are setting another example for sustainability and environmental protection!
